URL Redirector ("the app") is a link-routing utility for iOS developed by Stefan Sels. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, browsing history, or usage analytics. No data ever leaves your device in connection with the app's own operation.
The app stores the following entirely on your device:
This data is stored in your device's local preferences and, if you choose to use the iCloud backup feature, in Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store under your own Apple ID. It is never accessible to us.
If you tap "Back up to iCloud", your destination list is written to Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store associated with your Apple ID. This sync is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can delete this data at any time by turning off iCloud Drive for URL Redirector in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
When you redirect a link, the destination service you have configured (e.g. archive.today, a cached search result page) receives the URL you shared. That service's own privacy policy governs how it handles your request. Stefan Sels has no relationship with those services and does not control them.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
If this policy changes materially, an updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
